七、阅读短文,回答问题(10分)
A total of 23 spotted seals(斑海豹)were put back into the sea near Dalian in North-east China’s Liaoning Province in 2023 as part of China’s efforts to protect wildlife in danger.
Spotted seals are nationally protected animals in China. They are the only kind of seals that can have babies in Chinese waters. Like birds travelling with the seasons, they arrive around October every year in Liaodong Bay(湾), and take the long journey back to the North-west Pacific in May after raising their young. They are often called the “pandas of the sea”.
Thanks to China’s top-class national protection in recent years, the number of spotted seals in Chinese waters reaches around 2 000, while the global(全球的)number is between 400 000 and 600 000. Studies have shown that these 2 000 spotted seals are of great importance for the study on spotted seals.
To protect these rare animals and their ecological environment, the Liaoning Dalian Spotted Seal Wetlands were set up in 1992. Ten years later, they were included in the List of Wetlands of International Importance. Covering an area of 560 000 hectares with a coastline of about 370 kilometres, the wetlands are rich in biological resources(资源). They have become home to nationally protected animals such as the spotted seals, finless porpoises, killer whales, false killer whales, common dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, and East Asian river dolphins.
Since 1992, researchers in Dalian have successfully saved 388 spotted seals and put 299 of them back into the wild.

八、书面表达(30分)
假如你是阳光中学的李华,一名野生动物爱好者。你在学校论坛看到了一则关于野生动物的留言,请你根据其内容,写一篇100词左右的短文谈谈你的看法。(所给内容不计入总词数)

It's sad that some people are still buying products made from wild animals' fur or skin.
答案:It's sad that some people are still buying products made from wild animals' fur or skin. I'm strongly against it.
This action puts wild animals in great danger. The number of wild animals is becoming smaller and smaller because of hunting. If this goes on, fewer and fewer wild animals can survive. Also, products made from wild animals might make people sick.
As animal lovers, we can do something to help. First, we should never buy these products. Second, we can ask the government to make stronger laws to stop people from hunting wild animals. Third, we can join animal protection groups and teach people about animal protection. Remember, every small action matters in protecting our animal friends!
