Learning languages has always been important. It helps us have a better conversation with people from other countries. People also learn languages to have better job chances.
One of the quickest ways to improve your English is to use it in your activities every day. You can use different tools, such as a smartphone, an MP3 player and a computer. What you can do to learn some vocabulary about computers is to change the language on all the devices(设备) you use to English. You will learn the new language every time you hold the device and try to do something. New information will be taken in even when you are not aware of it.
Another thing you can do to get more language exposure is listening to podcasts(播客). On the internet, you can find many websites offering special podcasts to learners of English. You can also listen to just common podcasts by some famous people, like actors or sports players. This way, you get yourself familiar(熟悉的) with real spoken language.
Using your ears and eyes at the same time is much better when you are trying to learn something and that is why watching short videos in English might be even more helpful. But if you feel confident enough, why not watch a whole film in English without subtitles(字幕)?
Another skill is reading. You can choose English websites and articles to read online. You can also read online magazines and literature(文学作品). You can either buy real books or e-books.
Last but not least, you can socialize in English! Find pen pals and exchange letters with them. Look for special online groups for learners of English or create your own and you can talk with them in English. Remember, there are millions of learners of English out there who, just like you, want to improve their language learning!

My problem is poor spoken English. I will join English online groups to talk with other learners regularly and listen to English podcasts daily to improve my pronunciation. (言之有理即可)
