Gregg liked riding his bike. His dream was to travel around the Americas(美洲). Gregg's friend, Brooks, was also a cyclist(骑自行车的人).
To pay for the journey, Gregg and Brooks worked hard and saved money for years. Once they were on the road, they sometimes had to camp outdoors. Luckily, in some places, the local people let them live in their houses at night and gave them food.
During the journey, Gregg and Brooks saw deserts(沙漠), rainforests, and mountains. Their life was always exciting, but later Brooks got ill and had to return home. Gregg didn't stop. After going to twelve countries, he finally reached Ushuaia, Argentina.

Travel light. The less baggage(行李)you carry, the less you'll worry about.
Don't plan everything carefully. Then you'll be more relaxed(放松的)and you'll find more surprises.
Be polite. One traveller once told Gregg, "Always remember that nobody wants to fight with or cheat(欺骗)a nice person."
