Before the race, I didn’t have much confidence. Luckily, my PE teacher encouraged me a lot. I received

strict training every day after school. The big day finally came. I kept telling myself that I would certainly

win. I rushed like a wild horse as soon as the race began. As I got close to the finish line, I put all my

strength on my legs. Finally, I reached the finish line first. I was so excited that I couldn’t help crying.

That was a highlight in my life. I have been more confident since then. I have also learned that I can

achieve success through my efforts.
