三、完形填空(共15小题;每小题1分,满分15分)
What's your favourite time of a year? I like different seasons for different reasons. But my favourite season is 31.
Growing up, I spent a lot of time 32 my dad and his friends on their farm. In summer, I would swim and go fishing with my dad. In winter, I'd spend hours sliding on a hill and 33 snowballs, and then I'd come inside to 34 my feet by the fire. In spring, my grandma and I would go hunting for trees and flowers. In autumn, the weather was usually perfect, warm enough to play in the river by day and cold enough at night to comfortably sit down and listen 35 my grandma or my dad was telling me stories.
But my best autumn memory 36 with rain when I was 6. We drove to the farm in a light rain. The next day, when the clouds parted, I went out to see a sight I would never forget. I shouted and my grandma came 37.
"What's the matter?" said my grandma nervously. "Look!" I shouted, pointing to what looked like flames(火焰). "The mountains are on fire!" She looked. Then she 38. "That's not fire," she said. "That's 39 autumn."
I think you may have seen it. Those leaves left their mark on my heart. Autumn became my favourite season not just for its 40, but for other things—books we read, talks we shared and good times we spent together. We did all those things in every season. 41 in autumn, the days grew shorter, and 42 evenings gave us more time for things that meant the most.
That was long ago, but I still remember it 43. Some memories are gifts that stay with us forever.
When seasons change, they remind us that life keeps moving. We recall(回忆) good old days, give thanks for 44 and look forward to what lies ahead.
Autumn will always be my favourite time of a year. But the best season to enjoy life is any 45, any place, and any chance we're given.
