Sunday, 15th March
Today I was at Lily's home. We were studying together in a group. I wanted to drink some water. I took a cup but my hand slipped. The cup fell to the floor and broke into pieces.
I was very afraid. The cup was Lily's favourite one. At first, I was worried and thought about hiding it. But later, I decided to tell the truth. So I took a deep breath. I went to Lily and said, "I am very sorry. I broke your favourite cup by accident." Lily was surprised at first. But then she smiled and said, "It's OK. Don't worry. It was just a cup."
Today I learned something important. Honesty brings peace to my heart. And true friends don't get angry over small things. They care more about honesty than a cup.
