Last week, our school had a sports meeting.
I took part in a running race and I won first place.
Before the sports meeting, I did lots of exercise to make myself strong. Every day I got up early and ran for at least 30 minutes. In the running race, I was nervous at first. But when the starting gun went off, I tried my best to catch up with others.
With the cheers of my classmates, I kept running and was the first to reach the finishing line.
How happy and proud I felt! I was proud of myself not only for the good result but also for my hard work.
