Join Green Community’s spring activities
This spring, the Green Community Centre is offering exciting activities to different age groups. Check out the activities below.
Children’s Story Corner
This activity takes place every Saturday at 10 a.m. in the activity room throughout April and May. Each week, our willing volunteers will read picture books, play games and lead fun craft activities related to the stories. Story Corner is a great way for children to explore books and have a lot of fun!
Teens’ Nature Walk
Are you ready to discover more about our beautiful environment? Join us at 9 a.m. on 15 April for a spring nature walk. We will enjoy spring flowers, watch busy birds and explore the world of local insects. This walk is for teenagers aged between 13 and 17. Dress comfortably, and bring a water bottle and notebook to record your findings.
Health and Fitness Days for the Elderly
Our community centre offers two regular programmes on health and fitness to older residents.
Tai chi exercise: Every Tuesday at 1 p.m., teachers lead gentle tai chi exercises in the community square.
Health talk: Join us at 1 p.m. on Wednesday for our weekly health talks. Experts share practical advice about diet, mental health and how to deal with common illnesses.
Drop by for more details or to sign up for activities. We hope to see you soon!
