Avoiding crowds and lines is another important advantage of online tours. Most world-famous attractions are often very crowded,

There is one more advantage of online tours: they are usually free. You do not need to buy tickets or pay for the cost of travelling to a site. That matters a lot to me. I do not earn money myself, but I still want to see the world.

For all these reasons, I prefer online tours to in-person tours. They are a great way to explore the world right from home.

When it comes to visiting a tourist attraction, people may ask themselves: is it better to take an online tour or go in person? For me, the answer is clear. In-person tours are much better.
Perhaps the biggest advantage of in-person tours is that they offer a more real experience. Online tours only show pictures and videos, but being there in person lets you feel the sun, smell the air, and hear the sounds around you. Last summer, I visited the Great Wall. I could touch the ancient stones, feel the wind blowing, and imagine the history there. It was much more exciting than just watching online.
Another important advantage is that in-person tours allow you to interact with local people. Online, you can only read information, but when you go in person, you can talk to locals, try local food, and learn about their culture. For example, when I went to Xi'an, I talked to a shop owner who taught me how to make "yangrou paomo". It was a fun and special experience I couldn't get online.
There is one more advantage: in-person tours help you relax and exercise. Online tours mean sitting in front of a screen, but traveling in person involves walking, climbing, or exploring. Last month, I went hiking in a mountain. The fresh air and beautiful views made me forget my stress, and I got some exercise too.
For all these reasons, I prefer in-person tours to online tours. They let me experience the world in a more real and meaningful way.
