I “travelled” to Austria
A great travel vlog can bring the sights, sounds, smells and history of a place to life. It can make you feel like you’ve taken a trip yourself. That’s just what happened to me when I watched my favourite travel vlogger’s video tour of Austria.
The vlogger’s first stop in Austria was the Alps. Why did he choose this area? He wanted to visit filming locations from *The Sound of Music*! Since I love this film too, I was very interested in seeing these places. The vlogger took me up into the rolling green hills, showed me the beautiful fields covered with wildflowers and sang “The Sound of Music”! It was wonderful to see—and hear! As he sang, the landscape really came alive for me.
After coming down the mountains, the vlogger visited the capital city of Vienna. There, he went to the Snow Globe Museum. Did you know snow globes were invented in Vienna? I didn’t! The vlogger looked at countless lovely snow globes, each with its own special and creative design. I was very impressed.
I know many people enjoy taking tours of famous sites in person, but I much prefer watching travel vlogs. It’s a more personal experience. By the end of the vlog, it truly felt like I took a trip to Austria myself.
