I was weak at English grammar. My score was always the
lowest
in my class and my writing was full of mistakes (错误). To make a change, I made a study plan to
improve
my English.
I started by reviewing the basic grammar rules. I knew that I always made mistakes
because
I never really understood the rules. Focusing on grammar made me feel a little
boring
at first, but it made a huge difference. I
searched/surfed
online to watch videos about English grammar. Besides, my friends and teachers suggested that practising more is of great
importance
. I worked and practised even harder after they
provided
the advice.
My English got better and better. One of the turning points for me was
when
I began keeping grammar notes. Whenever I made a mistake, I would write it down along with the correct usage. In fact, to make
fewer
mistakes at any subject, we need to find what we're not good at and face it directly like this. Every mistake is a
chance
to learn something new.
