The Earth is our friend. We should take good care of it. But people have polluted(污染) it a lot. Polluting means making things dirty. Pollution comes in many ways. We see it, smell it, drink it and even hear it. The more people, the more pollution.
Air pollution is the most serious(最严重的). It's bad for all living things in the world, but it is not the only kind of pollution. Water pollution kills fish and pollutes drinking water. Noise pollution makes us angry more easily.
Many countries are making rules to fight against pollution. They stop people from burning(燃烧) coal in houses and factories in the city, and from putting dirty smoke into the air. The Earth is our home, so everybody should take action to protect it.
