Eight years ago, Li Jinglong and Guan Dian visited the Palace Museum for the first time. Like many visitors, the young couple were (

In fact, the young couple were not (

) to cloisonne items. 35-year-old Li was born and grew up in Beijing. There were two cloisonne vases in his grandparents’ home. Guan learnt to paint as a child and she saw cloisonne artworks in her books many times, (

) she knew much about them.
After their visit to the Palace Museum, the couple (

) to open a DIY workshop. “It often takes us hours or even a few days to (

) a cloisonne item because there are many steps to follow. We hope more people can enjoy (

) making Chinese-style cloisonne pieces here, so we make the process easier. They (

) need to paint the pieces their favourite colours,” said Guan.
Chang Yunqi, a 23-year-old office worker, (
