My New Friend
Last month, I made a friend. His name is Tom. He studies at Yancheng Middle School.
Tom has many hobbies. He likes travelling. Last year, he visited Shenzhen with his parents. There are many theme parks there, such as Window of the World. He likes this modern city because he can enjoy the beautiful sea around Shenzhen, and it is great fun to swim in the sea. He also likes reading books. It makes him happy and relaxed. Now he is interested in different kinds of books because he can learn a lot from books.
In the future, he would like to do something to protect the environment. He thinks everyone should stop factories from putting the waste into rivers, and plant more trees to make the air fresh. He believes their hometown will be more and more beautiful.
