Mum's birthday is coming next Monday. This morning, my brother Tom and I made a
birthday card by ourselves in the study.
First, we used some paper and a pair of scissors to cut out some flowers. Then we painted
them pink, yellow and red. Next, we wrote the sentence "Happy Birthday, Mum!" on a piece of
pink card and folded it. After that, we glued the colourful flowers onto the pink birthday card.
Finally, we drew some butterflies around the flowers to decorate the card. We made some
mistakes because we were so excited.
Looking at the card made by ourselves, we both felt proud. I hope Mum will be happy to see
